VIKA Maryland provided entitlement plan and construction document for processing redevelopment of a 90-acre industrial park located in Montgomery County, which also contains a transit oriented, mixed-use neighborhood with townhouses, multi-family units, and retail. Specific services include Preliminary/Site Plans, Final Forest Conservation Plans, Landscape Architecture Plans, Sediment Control Plans, Stormwater Management Plans, Storm Drain and Paving Plans, Water and Sewer Plans, and Record Plats. This complex, multi-phase project included processing Mandatory Referral submissions on behalf of Montgomery County for the public improvements on Crabbs Branch Way and at the adjacent WMATA property. This project is one of the first neotraditional neighborhoods that includes stormwater management practices that meet environmental site design facilities, including pervious pavement and micro-biofilters.
