Project Description
The office park included a centrally located parking lot that was originally reserved for another office building on approximately 10.62 acres of net lot area. With its prime Bethesda location and the limited supply of new homes under $1 million, EYA had an innovative solution for this parcel of land and the struggling Rock Spring area – a new walkable residential neighborhood with close proximity to top Montgomery County schools, retail shops and employment.
The community features a brand-new park and playground and 20’-wide walking paths give the neighborhood a pedestrian-friendly feel. Residents enjoy outstanding walk-ability with countless shops just steps away at Westfield Montgomery Mall and the Shops at Wildwood. A free Montgomery County shuttle to the metro is available for residents during weekday rush hours and EYA is currently working with County Planners to install six Capital Bike share stations in the area, including one on site.
