VIKA Maryland is providing professional surveying, entitlement, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and project management services for the Joint Development Partnership of WMATA and Fivesquares Development for the removal of 412 existing surface parking spaces and relocating them in an expansion of the existing parking garage. Significant design efforts included reconfiguration of the Metro’s kiss and ride layout, addition of a 100 space secure bike station, redesign of the existing Arts Walk, and entitlement approval support to position the site for redevelopment.
VIKA Maryland is also providing professional surveying, entitlement, civil engineering, and project management services for the future residential development on the site called Strathmore Square directly for Fivesquares Development. Specific Services include Preliminary Plan, Infrastructure Site Plan, Forest Conservation Plans, Stormwater Management Plans, Sediment Control Plans, Tuckerman Lane Road Improvement Plans, and other associated final engineering plans.
