Project Description
VIKA Maryland has provided Survey, Planning and Final Engineering services for a constructed; Department of Housing and Community Development, Apartment building with first floor retail and a parking garage.
A 279 unit apartment building and parking garage were completed in 2018 and a second 267 unit apartment building is beginning construction this year. We are presently working on another Apartment building with first floor retail on the site.
The plan will create a pedestrian and bike-friendly environment with interconnected sidewalks and roads to provide an integrated development for residents, employees, and patrons of this people-friendly urban design.
The Department of Housing and Community Development building is now completed. Phase 2 of the project is under construction, while Phase 3 is still in design. VIKA Maryland’s final engineering for Phase I included: environmental site design stormwater management facilities; storm drain; sediment control; and water and sewer. VIKA Maryland is providing project management and coordination for the construction of the project.
